Team
A small team with a wide reach
arocom is deliberately small. 8–10 team members, internationally staffed, working in German and English. We work remotely — from Stuttgart across Germany to Sardinia. No open-plan office, but distributed focus with clear structures.
Once a year we pack up our laptops and work together for a week from a pop-up office in Italy — Verona, Sardinia, wherever there is a table and good Wi-Fi. In between: weekly team meetings, coworking days in Stuttgart, and team days with workshops and barbecue.

He is a Drupal architect, actively involved in the international Drupal community, and the first point of contact for every inquiry. When you write to arocom, our team responds — personally, within 4 hours on business days.
He has guided over 160 Drupal projects: from an NGO with 11,000 employees to an international architecture firm. His principle: diagnosis before therapy. No proposal without a conversation, no solution without a understood problem.
Alongside the agency work, Axel writes and advises on the agentic era at arocon.eu — personal strategy advisory for decision-makers on AI and agent questions in the Mittelstand.

arocom is part of the Schöne Töchter Gruppe — a network of specialized digital agencies from Stuttgart. Together with 21TORR (creative agency), Logic Joe (data & analytics), and hauser lacour (brand & design), we cover the full spectrum of digital projects.
The CJD project shows how this agency collaboration works: 21TORR is responsible for creative direction and brand management, arocom for technical architecture and Drupal development. Not a subcontractor relationship, but a co-pitch on equal footing.
