The problem: PDF-based documentation is static. As soon as a production step changes, the entire document must be revised, distributed, and the old version recalled. For complex production processes with frequent changes, this is error-prone and time-consuming.

Fohhn needed a solution that is dynamic, makes revisions fully traceable, and delivers instructions specifically to the right teams.

The system manages technical documentation with parts lists, approval workflows, and revision-safe versioning — multilingual (DE/EN), with role-based access for different departments.

594 configuration files, 5 automated ECA workflows, a complete document lifecycle with approval process (BPMN-modeled). PDF preview for all documents, MathJax for technical formulas, code highlighting for configuration examples.
